This Weeks Feature

Hey everyone! My name is Chris and I'm the Web Developer for BidPuppy and www.bidpuppy.com ! I'm so glad to see our site coming together, we've got so many things going right now, its Crazy! You'll see a few more posts here and there over the next few weeks, and even more as we go live! This weeks topic is one of our features for our site.

This weeks feature is more targeted at the service provider. For those of you who are unsure, ask yourself “Do I provide a service?”, if you answered yes, you are a service provider, otherwise, you are a consumer, one who consumes =)

Everybody has seen how similar sites list their features in a very quick and simple table style, not very much interaction, and if you want to browse another subcategory you have to either go back or view the entire category. Not here! I've given a screenshot... kind of a teaser if you will... Depending on how many categories you as a service provider chose to register in, this will show a little bit differently. But remember, at BidPuppy, you aren't just paying for a tiny little subcategory, you're paying for a whole category, but shhh I won't give anymore away yet!

If you click on the Category header, it filters out the other categories by minimizing them and their subcategories only displaying the category you chose, or you can click 'Show only this category' to view that entire category without any others. By clicking a subcategory all other subcategories will be minimized except the one you are viewing, our list only shows a few from each category, usually the least viewed, then by how much time is left before it expires.

What about the consumer? Well... we've given you the ability to think less and do more! Got an auto repair but frequently forget to input things like make and model of the car? Our automotive category is partially powered by Kelly Blue Book (http://www.kbb.com) making it easier for you to select it rather than having to remember! Need an engine repair but forgot to put engine size in your post? No problem, we'll let you know you forgot to put it in! Moving but forgot to mention you needed a storage unit too? We'll let you know! We have included many extra form elements to help you remember to post as much information as you can about what you need done!

I guess thats it for now!

Take care,

Chris Walker
